The Japanese car manufacturer plans to expand its performance line with new models in more markets.
To this end, Nissan has announced a new Nismo Cars business unit, which focuses on expanding the Nismo volume over the 15,000 vehicles currently being produced year
“As Nissan”s sub-brand builds NISMO continues to focus on the core values of Nissan cars, “said Nismo CEO Takao Katagiri. “With the combined know-how of the Nissan Group companies, NISMO road vehicles will enjoy Nissan cars more than ever before.”
The Nismo treatment is currently applied to the GT-R, 370Z, Juke and Sentra-plus the (Versa) Note and Patrol Sport-ute in other markets. There is still no word of what models could get a performance rejuvenation next, but we would not be surprised to see sedans like the Altima and Maxima, and crossovers like the Rogue and Murano will be dealt with next. The Euromarkt Pulsar could also be on the dock, and pick-ups would not be out of the realm of possibility either.
A stronger Sentra Nismo RS could also be similar in the shop To the Juke RS. But we”re just talking about that point. “19459008]
